REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The Alberta Scholastic Esports League (ASEL) will host the Alberta Esports Championship (AEC), a three-day in-person event for up to 400 junior high and high school students to compete in Rocket League, VALORANT, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The event requires significant venue space, power, and network infrastructure to support gaming hardware, staging, and live broadcasts for both in-person and online audiences. ASEL is seeking a venue sponsor for AEC 2026 in exchange for title sponsorship and its benefits.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is a crossover fighting game where iconic characters from across gaming battle in fast-paced, chaotic matches on dynamic stages.
